About Us – Who We Are
Canada Bear was founded with one simple mission: to give children a strong, joyful foundation for lifelong learning. We believe early childhood and school-age years are filled with curiosity, imagination, and growth.
Our out-of-school care program welcomes children from Kindergarten to Grade 6, including students from FFCA and CBE schools, and provides age-appropriate experiences that support learning, independence, and social connection.

Our Location – Acadia Recreation Complex
Canada Bear is proudly located inside the Acadia Recreation Complex, a well-established and much-loved community hub in southeast Calgary.
Surrounded by green spaces and family-friendly facilities, the Acadia Recreation Complex offers a safe, welcoming, and vibrant community atmosphere that reflects the true spirit of Canada. The space feels calm, friendly, and inclusive- a place where children feel comfortable and families feel connected.

On-Site Canteen & Optional Food Service
The Acadia Recreation Complex also features an on-site canteen. For families who may be busy on certain days, Canada Bear offers an optional food ordering service:
Parents may request hot meals or snacks from the Acadia Recreation Complex canteen
Food orders are optional and not included in tuition fees
Requests can be made 1–2 days in advance
Meals and snacks will be delivered directly to the program room at scheduled times
